- Two years of directly related experience working with young people.
- Ability to build rapport and establish appropriate relationships with young people & a wide range of partners
- Ability to deliver high quality learning and development sessions for young people.
- A strong understanding of the challenges and barriers young people face.
- Ability to come up with new ideas and complete sessions plans
- Knowledge of safeguarding practices
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures
- Knowledge of local organisations and provisions for young people
- Experience of delivering group work sessions to young people
- Experience of building and supporting relationships with external organisations
- Experience of working to targets
- The ability to listen, communicate and engage with the local community, staff, and volunteers.
