Based within the East Ayrshire Single Point of Access Service offering same day screening / assessment to individuals concerned about their own or a loved ones alcohol/drug use.

There are two posts available to Job Share (17.5 hrs p.w.). It is essential that you are able to provide holiday & sickness absence cover. This is a FIXED TERM contract to 31st May 2026 with the possibility of the posts continuing subject to funding.

Would you like to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team who are the first point of contact to support individuals & their families into recovery?

Do you have you some experience of working with individualsand/or their families affected by alcohol/drug use?

Are you an empathic & compassionate person?

Do you have excellent verbal & written communication skills & an SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or eqivalent)?

Do you hold a full UK driving licence & have access to a car?

If so, this could be the role for you.

Interviews will be held on THURSDAY 1st MAY 2025

The preferred candidate will need to become a member of the PVG scheme or undergo a PVG update
