Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant eager for your next opportunity? Our client in North Lanarkshire is seeking a skilled and motivated Accounts Assistant with practical experience to join their growing team. In this vital role, you will collaborate with the finance department to deliver exceptional service to clients, contributing significantly to the company's success. A minimum of three years' experience in practice is required, but non-qualified accountants with relevant skills will also be considered.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Financial Statements for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, and charitable organisations
- Handle Corporate and Personal Tax Returns
- Develop Management Accounts
- Submit documents to Companies House, HMRC, and other relevant bodies
- Communicate with various organisations on behalf of clients
- Address client queries promptly and professionally
- Undertake ad hoc administrative duties

What We're Looking For:
- A preferred background of 3 years in an accountancy firm
- Proficiency in accountancy software - Iris
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Exceptional attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively
- A reliable and hardworking individual who can work independently and collaboratively
- A career-oriented candidate with a strong work ethic
