We are recruiting experienced and dedicated HGV Drivers on behalf of our client a well-established leader in the logistics industry. We are looking for both Class 1 and Class 2 drivers who are committed to providing exceptional service and ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods across the UK.
Salary:
- Class 1 PAYE:15.50 per hour or 17.00 per hour with holiday rolled up.
- Class 2 PAYE:14.00 per hour or 15.50 per hour with holiday rolled up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate HGV Class 1 or Class 2 vehicles, including loading and unloading cargo.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
- Report any mechanical issues or delays to the operations team.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 license.
- Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital tachograph card.
- Minimum of 2 years of HGV driving experience.
- Strong understanding of UK road networks and traffic regulations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and nights, if required.
