Our client based in Kings Lynn are seeking an Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper to join them in a permanent position. They can look at candidates who are seeking a role between 26.25 and 36.25 hours per week, the salary will be circa £30k+ Bonus and benefits, its a hybrid role with 1 day per week at home. Assistant Accountant/Bookkeeper

Book keeping for the PLC holding company:

Purchase ledger, including expenses, credit cards and foreign currency payments

Overseeing the authorisation process of invoices for payment

Posting monthly transactions, journals and adjustments

Supporting the Group Management Accountant on monthly tasks

Company secretarial support: (full training provided)

Shareholding reconciliation and summaries

Administering Employee benefit share schemes including, liaising with payroll, tracking movements and raising minutes as necessary

ESG support including collecting data throughout the group

Support the annual report process for the PLC

Skills required

Experience of working in a varied finance environment

Understanding of accounting practices, AAT desirable.

A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook

Literate and confident communicator
