I am currently seeking an experience Senior Structural Engineer to join a successful, civil and structural design practice based in Kings Lynn. Located in a beautiful part of the country, the office is situated in an attractive small town, with lots of lovely little villages dotted around and in close proximity to the seaside.
This role may suit someone who is looking for a bit of change in work life balance or possibly with a young family wanting a more rural, quieter life. We could also consider a Senior or Associate level Engineer, there is flexibility for the right candidate.

Experience And Skills Required for this Senior Structural Engineer role:
- Progression towards MIStructE/MICE Chartered membership
- Excellent communication skills, in both written and spoken English
- Hold a current UK driving licence
- Structural design experience in core materials; Concrete, Steel, Masonry, and Timber
- A high level of competence with AutoCAD, with experience of Revit being advantageous
- Modelling package experience with Tekla Tedds & Structural Designer, Masterseries would be advantageous
- Experience in conducting structural surveys and drafting reports
- Experience of processes, tools, and techniques for the design of structural assets
- Experience of refurbishment and change of use designs as well as new build projects
- Ability to work on own initiative and seek assistance when required
The responsibilities of this Senior Structural Engineer role include:
- Reporting to the Company Director as required
- Conduct detailed design calculations
- Manage the delivery of design for a portfolio of projects and assets
- Co-ordinating the detailed design drawings and preparing specifications for tender and construction purposes
- Assisting with the delivery of high-quality solutions across a variety of sectors for clients and project stakeholders
- Assist with the management of all the team's projects, resources and making key commercial decisions on fees
- Conduct structural surveys of buildings and structures and providing advice
