We are looking for a Driver to provide essential transportation services for our Highway Street Scene Inspectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the Inspectors can travel safely and efficiently to inspect roads in accordance with NCC guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to the Highway Code and ensuring all journeys are completed within the speed limits and in accordance with NCC guidance.
  • React to instructions from Highway Street Scene Inspectors during road inspections.
  • Ensure the vehicle is maintained in a safe and roadworthy condition.
  • Follow all NCC Policy, Guidance Notes, Processes, and Procedures provided during the induction.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous attitude while working with the Inspectors.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Full, clean driving licence (preferably with experience driving in a professional capacity).
  • Ability to drive safely and in compliance with all relevant traffic laws.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with the Inspectors and follow their instructions.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
  • Ability to follow all safety procedures and policies to ensure the safety of the team and the general public.
