In a nutshell…Our client is a manufacturer of bespoke industrial equipment for the FMCG and retail industry across the world. They continually invest in their people and site which has seen them to now become one of the leaders in the UK for product innovation, and design concepts.

Working within an established engineering team you will oversee the full project cycle of equipment design and installation. You develop timelines, set objects and then ensure that all projects are delivered on time and to budget.

The ideal candidate must have project management experience and will ideally be Prince or Agile qualified.

What's involved for the Project Manager

  • Own end to end project cycle
  • Develop and maintain timelines ensuring that projects are on time and in budget
  • Develop detailed project plans
  • Plan and allocate resources such as equipment and materials
  • Monitor project progress
  • Identifying potential risks
  • Develop RAMS
  • Establish quality standards
  • Manage project budgets
  • Lead and motivate teams
  • Identify areas for process improvement

What you'll need…

  • Strong experience within project management
  • Ideally hold a Prince2 or Agile qualification however this is not essential
  • Strong understanding of project management
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Experience with CAD or SolidWorks preferred but not essential
  • Engineering experience preferred but not essential
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Detail-oriented, focused, and adept at problem-solving and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be a self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic.
