We are seeking an ambitious, enthusiastic, and imaginative Head of Business and Computing to lead adynamic department at an outstanding secondary school in King's Lynn. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed individual to make a real difference in shaping the future of our students.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver an innovative Business Studies and Computing curriculum.
  • Lead and deliver an innovative Computer Science lessons to GCSE students.
  • Teach Business Studies to KS4 and potentially to A-level students.
  • Collaborate with department colleagues to enhance student learning and performance.
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including involvement in annual school productions.
  • Ensure student safety and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Utilize data to promote student achievement and attainment.

Requirements:

  • Experience teaching Business Studies at GCSE and A-Level.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Leadership experience or willingness to lead.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • IT literate with a commitment to personal development.
  • Understanding of equal opportunities and the ECM (Every Child Matters) agenda.
  • Passion for ensuring that all students have the opportunity to succeed.
