We are seeking an ambitious, enthusiastic, and imaginative Head of Business and Computing to lead adynamic department at an outstanding secondary school in King's Lynn. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed individual to make a real difference in shaping the future of our students.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver an innovative Business Studies and Computing curriculum.
- Lead and deliver an innovative Computer Science lessons to GCSE students.
- Teach Business Studies to KS4 and potentially to A-level students.
- Collaborate with department colleagues to enhance student learning and performance.
- Contribute to the wider school community, including involvement in annual school productions.
- Ensure student safety and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Utilize data to promote student achievement and attainment.
Requirements:
- Experience teaching Business Studies at GCSE and A-Level.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team.
- Leadership experience or willingness to lead.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- IT literate with a commitment to personal development.
- Understanding of equal opportunities and the ECM (Every Child Matters) agenda.
- Passion for ensuring that all students have the opportunity to succeed.
