Your new companyWe are seeking an Engineering department lead for business who design and supply machinery to manufacturers across the UK and beyond. This successful business are expanding due to customer demand and are seeking an experienced and knowledgable electrical engineer to lead a team of service engineers.Your new roleYou will be responsible for leading and managing all electrical engineering and maintenance activities and projects involving the electrical department, this role requires a strong technical background in electrical engineering, with a proven ability to manage projects, teams, and budgets effectively. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of hands-on experience and strong leadership skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and safety. You will be working Monday to Friday, 40 hours weekly with an expectation for travel where required to support customer installations.What you'll need to succeedIdeally you will have completed an Engineering apprenticeship or a similar qualification standard, you will have experience within a manufacturing environment, have hands on experience with industrial electrical systems, including troubleshooting, repair and maintenance. Up to date knowledge of PLCs, including Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron and HMI design.
