Driven, enthusiastic and personable Reservations & Sales Assistant required for a beautiful holistic retreat nestled in the West of Norfolk.

The person must have a real passion for customer service and a flair for organisation. The Retreat Centre is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Reservations & Sales Assistant to join their wonderful team. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth reservations management and providing exceptional service to their guests.

About the Retreat:

A unique retreat destination nestled in the heart of the Norfolk countryside. It offers serene spaces for wellness retreats, creative workshops, and bespoke events, all set amidst beautifully landscaped gardens and luxurious eco-accommodation.

The Role:

As a Reservations & Sales Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for guest enquiries and play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the reservations and marketing department. The main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and responding to customer enquiries via phone and email
  • Creating and maintaining accurate reservations, including dining and accommodation details
  • Liaising with housekeeping, maintenance, and other teams to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Conducting site show rounds for potential guests
  • Supporting the Sales & Marketing Manager with social media posts and marketing tasks
  • Updating function sheets and communicating key information across departments
  • Assisting with new package creation and contributing creative ideas to enhance the business

The Person:

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience in the hospitality, travel, or leisure industry (preferred)
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with the flexibility to cover holidays and busy periods
  • Proficiency in working across teams to ensure smooth operations

Package:

  • A competitive salary of £21,600 for a 4-day workweek (ideally, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)
  • 8.30 am until 5pm with a half hour break
  • 28 days holiday pro rata
