The market leader in liquid fertilizers in the UK, manufacturing and exporting a unique range of plant nutrients and crop health promotors nationally and internationally is looking for a Production Planner to join the team. Along with a salary of up to £45,000 per annum, you will also receive a pension scheme, discounted/free food, life insurance, company events and onsite parking.

You will join the team in coordinating and planning production schedules and will bring a strong understanding of business processes and mechanical knowledge to ensure efficient operations.

As Production Planner, your responsibilities will include:
  • Developing and maintaining schedules to meet customer demands
  • Coordinating with various departments to ensure timely flow
  • Monitoring inventory levels and adjusting schedules as needed
  • Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency
  • Utilising systems for scheduling and tracking purposes
  • Overseeing quality control measures in the process
  • Collaborating with the supply chain team to optimise material availability
Were looking for a Production Planner with:
  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience within a production planning, supply chain management or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in business processes related to production scheduling
  • The ability to assemble and interpret data for scheduling purposes
  • Mechanical knowledge to understand requirements
  • Proficiency in production planning software, ERP systems and the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • A strong focus on quality control practices
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
