Your new companyWe are looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join a busy manufacturing facility to advise, guide and coach management on all matters relating to the environment, health and safety.Your new roleAt the site lead you will advise, guide and coach management on all matters relating to health & safety and take direct responsibility for the HSE team. You will communicate and monitor the delivery of strategy and ensure full understanding and the implementation of management systems in line with ISO 14001, OHSAS and HSG65 where applicable. Oversee any accident investigations, liaising with regulatory bodies, health & safety executive and environmental agency.You will work closely with group piers to support utility reduction programme and support projects to deliver resource efficiency savings, identifying areas to reduce cost and maximise profit. What you'll need to succeedAs an experienced HSE Manager, you will hold a NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ level 6 equivalent, with experience gained in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will have significant experience in health, safety and environmental management and systems experience including ISO4001, 9001, and HSG65 as well as knowledge of current and future UK and EU environmental and health & safety legislation.
