Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students.

  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student progress and address their holistic needs.

  • Support students in developing social and emotional skills, helping them to build resilience and positive relationships.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
  • Proven experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs.
  • Strong understanding of SEMH strategies and interventions to support student learning and well-being.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching and making a difference in the lives of students with additional needs.
