We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a SEMH school in Kings Lynn. You will play a crucial role in supporting students with complex emotional and behavioural needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Engaging Students: Develop positive relationships with students and engage them in individual and group activities to support their social, academic, and behavioural development.
  • Behavioural Support: Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Lesson Support: Assist teachers in delivering lessons and provide support to students during learning activities.
  • Intervention: Participate in interventions to promote student participation and academic success.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with teachers, other staff members, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to student development.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children, particularly those with SEMH needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of individual students.
