The market leader in liquid fertilizers in the UK, manufacturing and exporting a unique range of plant nutrients and crop health promotors nationally and internationally is looking for a Production Planner to join the team. Along with a salary of up to £45,000 per annum, you will also receive a pension scheme, discounted/free food, life insurance, company events and onsite parking. You will join the team in coordinating and planning production schedules and will bring a strong understanding of business processes and mechanical knowledge to ensure efficient operations. As Production Planner, your responsibilities will include:

Developing and maintaining schedules to meet customer demands
Coordinating with various departments to ensure timely flow
Monitoring inventory levels and adjusting schedules as needed
Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency
Utilising systems for scheduling and tracking purposes
Overseeing quality control measures in the process
Collaborating with the supply chain team to optimise material availability

We’re looking for a Production Planner with:

A degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
Proven experience within a production planning, supply chain management or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in business processes related to production scheduling
The ability to assemble and interpret data for scheduling purposes
Mechanical knowledge to understand requirements
Proficiency in production planning software, ERP systems and the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
A strong focus on quality control practices
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
