Our client is a thriving, engineering company who manufacture a variety of food production machinery, parts and components for customers all over the world.

Utilising the latest equipment and technology they have an enviable reputation in the engineering sector, manufacturing to the highest quality.

They employ around 90 staff at the site in King's Lynn and have a dynamic and friendly culture within the company.

Due to continued success and expansion an Electrical Controls Manageris required to join their busy manufacturing facility for in-house assembly of machinery, on-site installation and development and supervision of the team.

This position plays a critical role in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems. You will leverage your expertise in PLC and HMI programming, electrical control systems, and hands-on assembly to optimize production processes. Responsibilities span the entire project life cycle, from initial design and hardware specification to site installation, commissioning, and ongoing support.

We are ideally looking for the following skills/qualifications:

  • Electrical maintenance and or service (electrician)
  • Understanding of PLC and HMI programming
  • Understanding of electrical control systems
  • Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineering Experience
  • Fault Finding Ability both Electrically & Mechanically
  • Ability to read and understand product schematics, assembly instructions and electrical drawings
  • Some people mentoring/leadership

Monday to Friday, 40 hour week, plus on-site work

Salary to suit experience, 25 days plus bank holiday, pension
