Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer from a FMCG or Machinery design background looking to take the lead on projects for a number of clients, managing a variety of projects from conception, through the design phase up to machinery installation, working closely with a tight knit team who will help guide and develop your career?

In this role, you'll work alongside the Senior Design Engineer, helping to manage projects from the first conversations with clients right through to the end. You will be involved in designing custom machinery solutions, keeping an eye on production in the workshop, and even getting out of the office to visit sites and make sure everything goes smoothly during installation across the UK.

On offer is the chance to join a small, close-knit team of Design Engineers, working together to create a range of custom machinery. While the focus is primarily on the Food industry, you'll also have the opportunity to work on projects in the Pharmaceutical and Packaging sectors. The company has been around for over 30 years, steadily growing thanks to the demand for their expertise, and they're now looking for someone to help handle the increasing workload.   • Lead projects from concept to completion, ensuring smooth delivery at every stage
  • Design bespoke machinery solutions using SolidWorks (training provided if needed)
  • Collaborate closely with our Senior Design Engineer and workshop team
  • Travel to sites across England to oversee installations
