Temporary to Permanent

Days: Monday - Friday

Hours: 06:00 - 18:00

Pay Rate: £13.00 - £16.00 per hour dependant on experience.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer/Fitter to join our team in Kings Lynn. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment. This role involves various physical tasks and requires mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Perform nut and bolting tasks to ensure secure fittings and assemblies.
  • Load and unload materials and equipment.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Follow detailed instructions to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist with site preparation and clean-up, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of tools and machinery.
  • Support skilled tradespeople in completing various construction and maintenance tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and construction practices.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools.
  • Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

The successful candidiate must be able to drive and have UK License.
