Band 7 Physiotherapist - Spinal Assessment Department

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Band 7 Physiotherapist to join the Spinal Assessment Department at an NHS hospital in Norfolk. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced physiotherapist to provide expert care to patients with spinal conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with spinal injuries or conditions.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to enhance patient recovery and improve quality of life.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic and patient-centred care.
  • Provide expert advice and support to junior staff and colleagues within the department.
  • You will independently triage referrals, many of which have complex/chronic presentations and determine a clinical diagnosis and working with the medical spinal assessment staff co-ordinate the appropriate path of intervention required including requesting further investigations (bloods/x-rays and MRI scans).

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
  • Significant experience in spinal assessment, rehabilitation and chronic pain
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a busy caseload.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
