NXTGEN is working with a highly regarded accountancy firm in King's Lynn to recruit an Accounts Assistant Manager to join their Business Services team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional looking to take the next step in their career, managing an established portfolio of clients while supporting and developing junior team members. This is a fantastic opportunity for the new Accounts Assistant manager to join the firm, as someone who is either ready to take the next step in their career or an established Assistant Manager seeking a new challenge where they can truly make their mark.

In this Accounts Assistant Manager role, you'll play a key part in delivering high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services to a diverse client base. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with business owners, ensuring compliance, providing insightful financial advice, and helping clients achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide technical support to clients on a range of accounting and tax matters.
  • Support and mentor junior staff, reviewing their work and helping them develop.
  • Work closely with senior management to drive efficiencies and improve processes.

What We're Looking For:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
  • Prior experience in an accountancy practice - Ideally circa 4 years.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
