Accounts Assistant/Payroll

Our client is a leading and prestigious manufacturing company based in Kings Lynn, due to their continued growth and development they are seeking to employ an Accounts Assistant/Payroll to join their friendly and professional team.

Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for all things purchase and sales ledger focused as well as being in charge of the company payroll.

The role will offer a huge amount of variety keeping each day interesting.  We are flexible on hours per week (between 30 – 35) but these must be over 5 days a week due to business requirements. (Monday to Friday)

Salary dependent on experience and skills.

This is a permanent role.

Key responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Purchase ledger
  • Sales ledger
  • Cashbook processing
  • Cashflow forecasting.
  • Company payroll and pension administration
  • Fixed Asset Register maintenance
  • Journals, accruals, and prepayments

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous accounts and payroll experience.

An enthusiastic and can-do attitude

Good attention to detail.

Good IT skills including Word and Excel.

Good organisational skills

Excellent customer service skills

An ability to work as part of a team and independently.
