We are seeking an experienced Estimator/Surveyor to join a growing team working on high-quality commercial interior projects. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your skills in a diverse role, where you'll be involved in assessing and preparing proposals for a wide range of interior fit-out projects. You’ll play a key part in liaising with clients, managing suppliers, and ensuring project specifications are met, all while working towards a successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be an integral part of the project team, responsible for: • Attending site visits to assess and understand the client’s requirements • Taking detailed measurements, photos, and notes regarding the scope of works for the proposal • Confirming finish details with the client and sending relevant samples when necessary • Negotiating competitive prices with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve the best value • Considering health and safety implications and plant requirements for each project • Reviewing relevant building regulations to ensure compliance with the project’s needs • Preparing quotations and returning proposals to clients in a timely manner • Following up with clients to address any concerns or queries and ensuring clarity • Securing client commitment and ensuring satisfaction with the proposal • Handing over final project details to the contracts team for further processing

Skills and Experience Required

To be successful in this role, you should have: • At least 5 years’ experience in the interior fit-out industry • Proficiency in using SketchUp and AutoCAD to create accurate designs and layouts • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of your work • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with clients and suppliers • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • A valid driving licence and access to a car for site visits and client meetings • Willingness to travel to various sites across the region

Additional Information

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary of £40,000.00 - £50,000.00 per annum, plus commission pay. Additional benefits include: • Additional leave entitlement • On-site parking
