IT HELPDESK SUPPORT / 1st LINE TECHNICAL SUPPORT / IT CUSTOMER SUPPORT

LOCATION: Office based near Kings Hill, Kent. You may be searching for IT Support jobs in Kent, West Malling, Kings Hill, Tonbridge, Hadlow, Maidstone, Chatham.

SALARY: up to 27,000 plus benefits, pension, warm and welcoming office environment, free snacks and drinks, full training given, home working options available after probationary period.

HOURS: Monday- Friday: flexible hours 8am-4.30pm / 9am-5.30pm / 9.30am-6pm.

Every other Saturday (half-a-day from home). Paid a day in full / half day off in the week.

As a confident and friendly IT Support Advisor, you will be the first point of contact between users and the Service desk team, providing 1st line IT support to clients predominantly within the Hospitality industry.

Your varied role in IT Helpdesk will include:

  • Providing prompt and proficient technical support via email and phone to the user.
  • Identifying, diagnosing and resolving IT issues.
  • Maintaining up-to-date and accurate records.
  • Occasional client site visits on specific allocated projects.

You will have at least 12-18 months experience in a 1st line IT Technical Support role or a very good understanding of IT, perhaps a Graduate, with a strong interest in Computer Science and can provide high levels of customer service.

As an IT Support Engineer / IT Support Technician, you will be proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook, and a good knowledge of Windows, Office 365 Management and Implementation, Anti-Virus Software, Network Administration, Peripherals, Imaging Software, TCP/IP, Server/ PC build.

You will be technically competent, and customer focussed, with excellent communication skills, able to use your own initiative, and work well within a fast-paced environment. Your attention to detail, as well as your enthusiasm and commitment to learning, will contribute towards a fun and rewarding career.
