HGV Class 2 Driver / Drainage Engineer

The Role: HGV Class 2 Driver / Drainage Engineer

Starting on a temporary contract, this role has the potential to become permanent.

Responsibilities
 

• Drive and operate various HGV Class 2 drainage vehicles, including Vacuum Tankers, Liquid Waste Tankers and Combi Units.
• Work closely with a skilled operative to assist in the operation of machinery for the clearance and maintenance of surface water and foul water drainage systems.
• You will be working for a variety of customers including commercial, domestic and water boards, maintaining their drainage network.

Shift Patterns

There are various shift patterns available.

Monday to Friday

• Day Shift – 06:00 - 16:00
• Night Shift – 17:00 - 03:00

4 on 4 off

• Day Shift – 06:00 - 18:00
• Night Shift – 18:00 - 06:00

Option to work either shift pattern and day or night shift however flexibility is advantageous.

Pay Rates
 

• Days – £13.30 - £15.51 per hour (PAYE) depending on experience
• Nights - £16.63 - £19.39 per hour (PAYE) depending on experience

Requirements
 

• HGV Class 2 Licence with valid CPC.
• Previous drainage experience or experience driving and operating Combi Units and/or Waste Tankers would be beneficial.
