Business Development Executive

OA are recruiting for a Business Development Executiveto join our clients award-winning contractor payroll company that specialises in UK and International payroll services.

The ideal candidate will have prior sales experience, along with a background in the construction industry. They will thrive in a dynamic work environment that offers strong career growth opportunities and excellent earning potential.

Location: Kings Langley

Hours: Monday to Friday. 9am – 5pm. Office based.

Salary: OTE £45,000 (uncapped) incorporating Basic Salary of £28,000-£33,000 + £5,000 car allowance.

Business Development Executive - Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and prioritise personal sales activities and customer contact towards achieving agreed business aims and role targets.
  • Generate new business leads by making outbound calls to new and prospective clients, proactively researching leads, promptly following up enquiries, using own contacts and network.
  • Proactively identify and pursue potential markets and prospects.
  • Meet qualified new prospects face to face, where appropriate.
  • Accurately record all activity on Salesforce in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintenance of all-important Company documents and records, kept secure and up to date, using approved database.
  • Adhere to Company policies and procedures.

Business Development Executive - Skills and Experience

  • Excellent sales skills via phone and in person.
  • Previous recruitment, sales and construction experience is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated and results orientated with strong time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and empathetic skills.
  • Focused on delivering a high level of customer service and exceeding targets.
  • Construction experience is essential for the position.
  • Knowledge of P.A.Y.E. and general taxation is preferred but not essential.
  • Proficient in mathematics and English with accurate data management skills.IT Literate, proficient in using MS Office, Outlook and sales CRM systems (such as Salesforce).
