We are seeking a skilled CNC 5 Axis Programmer to join our team. As a CNC 5 Axis Programmer, you will be responsible for programming offline using Hypermill for CNC 5 axis machines to produce high-quality components and products.
Responsibilities
- Program offline using Hypermill software for CNC 5 axis machines
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to develop efficient machining processes
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize CNC programs
- Validate CNC programs through simulation and test runs
- Troubleshoot and debug CNC programs to ensure smooth production processes
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC programmer, specifically with 5 axis machines
- Proficiency in Hypermill software for offline programming
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and GD&T
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of machine tooling and cutting parameters
Day-to-day
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to review and optimize machining processes
- Develop and refine CNC programs using Hypermill software
- Perform simulations and test runs to validate CNC programs
- Troubleshoot and debug programs to ensure production efficiency
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
