We are seeking a skilled 5 Axis Setter/Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in setting and operating 5 axis milling machines, with the ability to set and run multiple different machines including DMG Mori, Hermle, and others.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate 5 axis milling machines to produce high-quality parts
- Interpret engineering drawings to determine the most efficient set up and operation of machines
- Use precision measuring instruments to inspect parts and ensure they meet quality standards
- Troubleshoot and make necessary adjustments to ensure the machines are running at optimal levels
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to continuously improve processes and procedures
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a 5 Axis Setter/Operator in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to set and operate multiple different machines, including DMG Mori, Hermle, and others
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
