About The Opportunity:

Joining as a full time Payroll Technician, you will be providing payroll services to a portfolio of clients, operating across various industries.

About The Role:

You will be working under the guidance of the Payroll Manager to assist with the provision of the following services:

Managing own workflow to meet associated deadlines
Preparing and distributing all aspects of employee payments
Maintaining payroll records and calculating taxes
Ensuring timely submission of data to HMRC and maintaining compliance with GDPR
Administration of pension contributions and ensuring auto-enrolment rules are being adhered to
Providing a friendly point of contact to clients for payroll and bookkeeping related queries

You will be integral to the practices continued expansion and will be expected to want to help grow the payroll division. To assist with this progression, the company will provide study support towards relevant qualifications, alongside internal training.

  • Adaptable and wanting to develop skills across both payroll and bookkeeping
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to balance workloads to manage the needs of various clients
  • Possesses excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure
