Join B&M Cares St Lauras Care Home in Kings Langley as Deputy Care Manager and play a pivotal role in supporting the Home Manager in the day-to-day management of the home.
Key Responsibilities as a Deputy Care Manager:
- Assist the Manager in efficiently and compassionately running the home.
- Supervise staff and work in a direct care capacity on a day-to-day basis.
- Report directly to the Home Manager or their appointed representative regarding all performed duties.
- Assume managerial duties in the absence of the Manager, ensuring the home operates to high standards and meets regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of appropriate training for staff.
- Have designated responsibility for the ordering, recording, administration, and disposal of the home's medication system.
- Contribute to maintaining adequate staffing levels and the correct staff mix.
Essential Skills, Characteristics, and Experience:
- Must hold at least an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
- Experience in dementia care.
