Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CMM Programmer to join our team. The CMM Programmer will be responsible for programming using Mitutoyo software, conducting quality inspections, and utilizing shadow graphs to ensure the accuracy and precision of manufactured parts.

Responsibilities

  • Create and verify CMM programs using Mitutoyo software to inspect manufactured parts
  • Perform quality inspections using CMM equipment and shadow graphs
  • Analyze and interpret inspection results to determine part conformity and conformance to specifications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any quality-related issues
  • Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results and programming procedures

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in programming CMM equipment using Mitutoyo software
  • Solid understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
  • Experience with quality inspection techniques and equipment, including shadow graphs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Day to Day

  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to schedule and prioritize inspection activities
  • Program CMM equipment for new part inspection and perform routine maintenance
  • Perform detailed analysis of inspection results and make recommendations for process improvement
  • Communicate inspection findings and work with teams to address any non-conformances
