McGinley are looking for a skilled and reliable Streetworks Operatives to join our team. The role involves working on highways, footpaths, and roadworks projects, ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with streetworks regulations.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out groundworks, reinstatement, and maintenance on roads and pavements.
  • Installing and repairing ducts, kerbs, drainage, and utility connections.
  • Ensuring work complies with NRSWA (New Roads and Street Works Act) standards.
  • Operating plant and machinery where required.
  • Following health and safety procedures and reporting any hazards or incidents.
  • Working effectively as part of a team to meet project deadlines.


Requirements:

  • Valid NRSWA (Streetworks) Operative Ticket (Essential).
  • Previous experience in streetworks, highways, or utilities.
  • CSCS Card Essential
  • Experience with reinstatement, tarmac, and paving is beneficial.
  • Strong awareness of health and safety in a streetworks environment.
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred).
