About The Role:Days of Working: Monday to SaturdayShift Pattern: 06:00am to 12:00pmWe are currently recruiting for a Food Hygiene Manager to join our passionate and driven Cleaning team.As Hygiene Manager, you will oversee budgets, manage maintenance, ensure hygiene standards across the shift. This role will also involve completion of audits such as CIC, equipment, cleaning verification, PPE, health & safety & supervision. Hygiene Investigations and following corrective actions and clear communication with shift / site hygiene managers and customer.Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct COSHH assessments, risk assessments, document safe systems of work for all hygiene tasks, and issues followed up.
  • Responsibility for monitoring and ensuring that all aspects of the hygiene teams' activities, maintaining continuous hygiene standards.
  • Delivering continuous improvements of processes and procedures within the Hygiene department to ensure on-going efficiencies and cost savings can be identified and met.
  • Identify any Health and Safety issues within the area / team, maintaining a focus on risk reduction.
  • Record and investigate accidents / incidents and report to the site Manager.
  • Conduct hygiene audits in relation to Health & Safety, GMP and Finished Standards.
  • Ensuring all internal audits are completed including any actions relating to: Quality, Chemical usage, Titatration checks, Overtime Tracker / Headcount, KPI (Data collection), Stores Usage, Swabbing denitrification / residual chemical, Water Usage

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • You must have Right to Work in the UK
  • You will have experience working in Quality Assurance
  • Clear understanding of HACCP, COSHH, QA & Management Procedures
  • Operational Experience within a Food Manufacturing setting
  • Experience in managing budgets
  • Proven record of continuous improvement and change management
  • Proficient computer skills (all aspects of Microsoft Office)
  • Demonstrable leadership skills with a proven record of developing and coaching high-performance teams
