Hotel Food and Beverage Assistant (F&B)

We are seeking a Food and Beverage Assistant to join the team at this iconic hotel.

A career at Burgh Island is unique and is not for the faint-hearted. Island life brings with it several challenges in terms of location and working hours. Resilience and Flexibility are a must

F/T: 40 hours per week,

Salary: £23795.20 per annum

(Live-in accommodation is available, subject to availability. This starts at £25.00 per week.)

You will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, be knowledgeable about food safety regulations, and have previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting. Please note that this is not a managerial position. This is an entry-level role with opportunities for growth within the company.

Duties:

- Assist in food preparation and presentation

- Provide excellent customer service to all guests

- Take food and drink orders and deliver them promptly

- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area

- Help with bartending duties as needed

- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times

Requirements/Skills

- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures

- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred

- Proficient in food preparation techniques

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Attention to detail and ability to multitask

- Excellent customer cervices skills
