Insurance Administrator Apprentice

We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice to join an established household name in insurance. This is a full time role based in Ashford and you will be working a 35 hour a week (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with an hour for lunch). The ideal candidate will take a proactive role in successfully planning, completing work tasks, development activities, training and other appropriate learning activities in accordance with Apprenticeship Scheme requirements and business needs.

Salary is 8.60per hour, plus a host of benefits to include:

Duties will include:

  • Positive interactions with customers by answering incoming calls, directing to the appropriate person, greeting visitors to the office and contacting customers to support their insurance needs eg booking review meetings.
  • Effective management of stock, ordering marketing and business stationary.
  • Efficient management of incoming and outgoing post.
  • Supporting New Business and Marketing team with organising external events and updating social media accounts appropriately.
  • Supporting Agency Manager with organising internal events and training.
  • Effective administration of credit control processes including customer payments and processing refund requests within required time frames.
  • Work across the Administration Team, providing cover for absences or high workloads as required.
  • Consistently provide excellent levels of customer service in all interactions with potential and existing customers, delivering on promises, meeting their needs and exceeding expectations.

Full training provided (which may include additional travel and staying away from home in order to attend training courses). There may be occasional weekend work/public holidays to support agency events.
