Kenneth Brian Associates are recruiting for a market leader in their field, who are recruiting for a Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate experience within a similar role and will live within commutable distance to Kingston as this is an office based role.

Main Duties:

  • Ensure all invoices received are logged on the finance system, distributed for authorisation, and are returned appropriately authorised.
  • Preparing Sales (Customer) Invoices & receipt
  • To maintain spreadsheet for monitoring subcontractor payments on monthly basis, and reconciling subcontractor payments.
  • To maintain the debtor’s ledger and carry out credit control at least monthly
  • To maintain and reconcile Petty cash on daily basis.
  • Preparing & posting of staff expenses claims
  • To ensure regular payment of Learner Support and other student funds, to reconcile all funds, and be key liaison in relation to Support funds.
  • To perform other administrative tasks such as filing & setting up appointments
  • To input Purchase Orders onto the finance system (currently Sage accounting), print & despatch.
  • Deputise for the Finance Manager where necessary.
  • Other necessary accounts duties

  • Strong numeracy and accuracy skills
  • Proficient with modern accounting packages
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Comfortable working in a busy team environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize workload
