A leading independent school, renowned for its academic excellence, is seeking a temporary School Cleaner for the evening shift for a period of 4-6 weeks initially.
Hours:Â 5pm - 7pm, Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all areas of the school, including classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas, are clean and well-maintained.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe environment.
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience within an educational environment is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- A clear enhanced DBS will be required for this role.
