We are seeking a Trainee Commercial Executive to join our team within the aviation industry. This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop their skills and grow into an effective charter sales executive. The successful candidate will assist the commercial department in achieving business objectives and will be involved in managing enquiries, coordinating with customer services for flight operations, and developing new business opportunities.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Assist the commercial department in achieving business objectives.
  • Develop knowledge and skills to become an effective charter sales executive.
  • Handle enquiries, make offers, and accept bookings as directed.
  • Coordinate with Customer Services for flight operation.
  • Negotiate with clients to procure the best value for the company and airline partners.
  • Provide timely offers with detailed and accurate information to clients.
  • Follow up regularly and work towards booking confirmation.
  • Ensure all contracts, insurance, and regulatory matters are accurate and legally compliant.
  • Liaise with clients and suppliers on contract-related issues.
  • Identify opportunities to grow the business in new and existing markets.
  • Visit potential clients to generate further business.
  • Develop new business through initiative, following up on leads, client recommendations, and proactive networking.
  • Engage in cold calling to build on our portfolio of existing clients.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Vocational experience within the aviation industry with an aircraft operator or handler is desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge of the aviation market, including aircraft types, is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to manage relationships with demanding customers from different cultures in a discreet and professional manner.
  • Capability to deal with difficult clients calmly and effectively.
