Sonic Summary

Our client, located in Kingston, London, is seeking an experienced CNC Turner Programmer for the Defense and Aerospace sectors.
The position requires a minimum of 5 years of extensive CNC turning experience, with the ability to program, set, and operate a Doosan Puma 2600 lathe.
The hourly rate for this role is between £18-20, with overtime paid at 1.5 times the normal rate, negotiable for the right candidate.
Candidates must possess a good understanding of machining various materials, work unsupervised, and be able to interpret engineering drawings with high precision.
The work schedule is Monday to Thursday from 07:30 to 16:30 and Friday from 07:30 to 12:30, offering 22 days of holiday plus bank holidays.

CNC Turner Programmer

Our client is based in Kingston, London who work in the Defense and Aerospace sectors,

Requirements:

Experienced CNC Turner required to program, set & operate a Doosan Puma 2600 single turret lathe with C & Y Axis

Hourly rate in the region of 18-20 per hour O/t x 1.5 (negotiable for right person)

Candidates should have the following skills and experience:

Extensive CNC turning experience (min 5 Years)

Ability to write and prove programs.

A good all round knowledge of machining various materials.

Ability to work unsupervised, and as part of a team.

Experience of working with small batch sizes; such as 1-10 offs.

Able understand engineering drawings.

Able to work to a high level of precision with tight tolerances and time schedules.

Work: Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 16:30 and Friday 07:30 - 12:30
