Live-in Housekeeper & Cook in Kingston KT2Location: Kingston upon Thames KT2Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (gross)Start Date: ImmediateOverview: A friendly, relaxed, and welcoming young family in Kingston are seeking an experienced and motivated live-in housekeeper and cook. This role offers the opportunity to become a part of the family in a comfortable home environment. The family is looking for someone who can help maintain their household, prepare healthy, balanced meals, and assist with childcare as needed. The family employ a cleaner on a Friday for a deep clean each week.Key Responsibilities:

• Cooking: Prepare family meals 3-5 days per week (including vegetarian dishes, Bolognese, pasta, rice, schnitzels, and other balanced family meals).
• Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and tidy home, including laundry, ironing (especially school uniforms), and ensuring linens and towels are refreshed once a week for the family.
• Shopping: Handle the weekly shopping for the household, ensuring all groceries are stocked and fresh.
• Childcare: Build a positive rapport with all children (aged 9, 11, and 4) and adapt to their needs, work in partnership with the parents where needed.
• Driving: Must be a confident driver to assist with school runs (Range Rover and Mini).

Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8 AM - 6 PM
• No weekends or bank holidays required
• Christmas off

Requirements:

• Confident driving a Range Rover with clean driving record (for school runs and family outings)
• Previous experience as a housekeeper and cook
• Must be comfortable with children and building relationships with them
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive, proactive attitude

Package & Accommodation:

• Salary £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (gross)
• The housekeeper cook will have a separate annex which is above the garage, with your own private entrance. The annex is fully furnished and includes a full kitchen, large bedroom with living space, and an en-suite bathroom.
