My client is a respected school in Kingston upon Thames, looking to recruit a talented School Data Officer to join their senior support team.In this key role, you will oversee the comprehensive administration, development and analysis of data to support student progress and enhance the effectiveness of teaching. Your responsibilities will include managing the school's Management Information System (MIS), developing and optimising data systems and databases, and producing curriculum, timetabling, and exam review reports.You will play a crucial role in analysing and presenting a wide range of student and school data to inform strategic planning, target setting, and the school's long-term objectives. Additionally, you will ensure the creation of clear, concise, and timely information and reports for both internal and external stakeholders, while maintaining accurate and prompt statutory data returns. You’ll provide technical support to all staff as required and actively suggest further improvements, upgrades and best practice to the senior leadership team.The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role within a busy school or college environment, with a solid understanding of data protection legislation and the importance of safeguarding data integrity. The role is offered on a term time plus 4 weeks arrangement.
