Location: Kingston, KT10 | Pay: £94 - £105 per day | Contract: Temp to Perm | Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Classroom Support: Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
  • Individual and Group Support: Provide targeted help to students, whether one-to-one or in small groups, focusing on those needing extra assistance.
  • Behaviour Management: Promote positive behaviour and address challenges in the classroom.
  • Resource Preparation: Help prepare and organise learning materials to create an engaging classroom environment.
  • Supervision: Ensure student safety during lessons, breaks, and activities.
  • SEN Support: Assist students with special educational needs (SEN), adjusting methods to meet their needs.
  • Communication: Liaise with parents, teachers, and staff to provide the best support for students.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (Teaching Assistant qualifications are a plus).
  • Experience working with children is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and passion for helping children succeed.
