Your new roleYou will be part of a large team of HR professionals and work as a specialist HR Advisor focussing on low volume but complex employee relation cases. Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Advise, guide, and coach managers to help deliver the vision and mission of the organisation.
  • Provide expert advice and support on employee relations (ER) cases from start to finish.
  • Coach managers on best practices in: contractual matters, effective communication, team motivation and development.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of people procedures
  • Manage a portfolio of projects and initiatives to: provide tools, data, and guidance and improve the employee experience
  • Ensure all interactions with employees are fair, process-aligned, and legally compliant.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous in-depth knowledge of employee relations and possess a real passion for working on complex cases through to resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to listen and simplify complex information.
  • Independent worker: managing and prioritising deadlines and then delivering results and solutions.
  • Confident with systems and data; experience with MS SharePoint and Power BI is a bonus.
  • An ability to work with a variety of stakeholders, including customers and colleagues.
  • The ability to thrive in a collaborative and respectful environment.
