Level 3 Early Years Practitioner – Private Nursery – Kingston-Upon-Thames

Position: Level 3 Early Years Practitioner
Location: Kingston-upon-Thames, Southwest London
Contract: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours/week, Fortnightly Rota)
Salary: £25,000 - £26,500
Hours: Between 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 51 weeks per year

Are you a dedicated Early Years Practitioner with a passion for nurturing and developing young children? 
Do you hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and have at least one year of experience in a nursery or EYFS teaching setting? 
If this sounds like you, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our warm and supportive nursery team.

We are part of a highly respected independent preparatory school in Kingston-upon-Thames and are looking for a Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner to provide exceptional care and education for children aged 2-5. 
This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of £25,000 - £26,500, with a fortnightly rota of 4.5 working days per week, allowing for a great work-life balance.

The Ideal Candidate:
Level 3 Qualified in Childcare, Early Years Education, or a related field.
Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a nursery setting or as an EYFS Teaching Assistant.
Ideally a graduate, although this is not essential.
Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and a passion for child development.
Excellent communication skills and a nurturing, caring attitude.
Ability to work effectively within a team and build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff.
Highly organized, proactive, and dedicated to providing a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for young learners.


The Role:
As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will:

Support the learning and development of children aged 0-5, ensuring each child receives tailored care and education.
Plan and deliver engaging and creative activities in line with the EYFS framework.
Work closely with a team of practitioners to create a warm and stimulating learning environment.
Build strong, positive relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child’s progress.
Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care.
Participate in the ongoing evaluation and development of the nursery program.
