Physics Teacher Kingston-upon-Thames Immediate Start

We are currently seeking a Physics Teacher to join a supportive and dynamic secondary school in Kingston-upon-Thames, with an immediate start until July 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher to deliver engaging Physics lessons to students at GCSE and A-Level and contribute to the continued success and development of the school.

Key Responsibilities of the Physics Teacher Role:
  • Delivering high-quality, engaging, and effective Physics lessons to students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Planning and delivering lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles, ensuring students are challenged and supported to reach their full potential.
  • Creating a positive and stimulating classroom environment that fosters student engagement and encourages independent thinking.
  • Assessing student progress and providing timely feedback to help students improve and succeed.
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and contributing to the school's reporting systems.

Physics Teacher Essential Requirements:
  • 1st Class or 2:1 in a Physics degree from a top UK university.
  • A UK teaching qualification such as PGCE, SCITT or Bachelor of Education (BEd) and QTS.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Physics.
  • Previous teaching experience at secondary or sixth form level is preferred but not essential.
  • A genuine passion for inspiring students to pursue Physics and the sciences.
