Our client are looking for a Yard Operative / Labourer to work in their yard based in the Tolworth area, close to Kingston.
Hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm with an hour lunch break.
You will need to live close to Kingston / Tolworth area, or have your own transport.
You will also need your own safety boots / shoes and a high viz along with relevant previous experience.
Please note that this role, is mainly working outside so you will need to be comfortable with this type of working environment. This is a manual role too, but has time progresses you will be trained on the plant equipment and machinery. Please only apply if you are happy doing manual labour, as this may not suit everyone.
If you have experience of loading and strapping loads on to lorries, using ratchet straps (also known as lashing straps or webbing ratchet straps) to secure cargo, always ensuring safety and stability during transit, then this would be advantageous.
Experience of following all Health & Safety requirements is essential too.
This role starts ASAP and is on an ongoing basis for now.
