The School of Commercial Industries and Access at Kingston College are now seeking a Team Leader with a subject specialism in the Public Service and Health sector to teach across a wide range of levels including Level 2 & 3 BTEC’s as well as Level 4 & 5 HNC/D.

The post sits within the Health & Active Living section, and you will be responsible for curriculum standards and outcomes for a number of programmes across the school and specifically the Uniformed Services and Health sections.

With a degree or professional qualification and excellent current teaching skills in at least one of the following curriculum areas: Sport, Health & Social Care, Public Services, you will hold a teaching qualification, be recognised as a good or better teacher and have current knowledge of impending curriculum changes (HE & FE) and the implications for teaching and learning strategies. You will have a thorough understanding of quality assurance and improvement processes and how these can be used to enhance the student experience and have a strong vision for the improvement and development of the curriculum area.

You will have experience of leading/managing FE & HE programmes and experience of successfully monitoring and supporting 'at-risk’ learners to achieve or exceed their potential. Receptive to new ideas and initiatives with a creative approach to problem solving, you will have high personal standards and expectations with good planning, preparation, organisational and administrative skills, with good attention to detail.

The successful candidate will be eligible for any increase in salary as a consequence of the annual cost of living review that is due to be implemented imminently.
