The School of Science, Technology, Engineering and Professional at Kingston College are looking to appoint a Lecturer to teach Biology related subjects on BTEC Level 3 Applied Science programmes.

You will prepare students for exams, coursework, homework, student monitoring, and where appropriate, curriculum development. The expectation is that high levels of student attainment will be achieved.

As our Lecturer, we’d like you to hold a degree or relevant professional qualification in an appropriate subject and have excellent teaching skills in science. We’d like you to have energy, enthusiasm and passion for the subject and education, and the ability to support, motivate and empathise with learners, including monitoring their progress. Receptive to new ideas and initiatives and with a creative approach to problem solving, you will have an awareness of academic quality standards and be able to use new technologies to enhance teaching and learning.

The successful candidate will be eligible for any increase in salary as a consequence of the annual cost of living review that is implemented in the new academic year.

Closing date for the return of completed applications is 1st October 2024.
