We are working with a University based in South West London to recruit a HR Advisor. The post holder will be responsible for supporting employee relations casework and will provide expert advice on UK employment law to stakeholders.

Location: South West London (hybrid working – 3 day in office, 2 days working from home)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist directorates and faculties with a staff headcount of 1,000 employees
  • Provide HR Advisory support to the directorate
  • Support the Senior HR Advisor on complex employee relations casework
  • Providing supporting with absence management and grievances
  • Ensure compliance with employment law and university policies
  • Organise and facilitate drop-in sessions for management to share knowledge on employment law, covering both employee and employer perspectives
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and staff on HR-related matters

Requirements:

  • CIPD qualified professional
  • Proven experience leading for supporting employee relations cases
  • Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment law
