As a Stock Controller, you will play a key part in ensuring efficient stock management to support our operations and growth.
Day-to-day of the role:- Ensure all orders are placed, confirmed by suppliers, and delivered within agreed timeframes.
- Follow booking-in processes and procedures correctly, ensuring all deliveries are booked and available as live stock in a timely manner.
- Reconcile stock on arrival and flag any issues with quality, quantity delivered, or pricing with suppliers.
- Maintain correct date rotation of products.
- Work with the senior management team on seasonal and yearly planning of our stock holding replenishment and costs.
- Monitor overstocks and wastage.
- Assist with rework of stock where required.
- Perform other ad-hoc operational duties as necessary.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good numeracy and IT skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability and a keen eye for detail.
- Degree level qualification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years work experience, ideally in a similar role within an FMCG company.
